Delivery Arrangements

Our Delivery Arrangements:

We offer free shipping in the UK for orders over £75.  Please allow 3-5 working days for free shipping option.

For free delivery option an account must be created.

If you require items sooner then please select our express delivery or next day postage options.

Items are sent by UPS, DHL or Royal Mail First Class (this usually means 1-3 days for delivery).

For guaranteed next day delievery please choose this option*.

Orders must be placed before 2.30pm for same day dispatch, we will still endeavour to dispatch orders placed after this time, but it cannot be guaranteed, especially at peak periods.  

Please note that whilst we carry a certain amount of stock, some items will be ordered directly from the manufacturer or from our Amazon Fulfliment Centre, this may increase dispatch times slightly.  We notify customers with expected delivery as soon as confirmed by manufacturer. 

If you wish to know when your item will be dispatched please give us a call.

* Next Day delivery means next working day and relates to UK postage only.  Next day delivery items will be dispatched either by courier or Royal Mail Special Delivery 1pm service.  Next day delivery does not apply to items not in stock, if this option is purchased we will dispatch for next working day when the item is received from the manufacturer.

If items are not in stock and you require your order to be part-shipped please let us know. (Additional charges may apply)

We send using Royal Mail, UPS or DHL: 

It is our policy to post items to our UK customers by UPS, DHL or Royal Mail First and Second Class Recorded.   (Please note orders must be placed before 2.30pm to be posted same day)   

If you choose guaranteed next working day please be aware that our collection for next working day delivery is 2.30pm.


Delivery charges are automatically calculated in the shoppping cart prior to confirmation of the order.  If you require any further details regarding postage fees please contact us at accounts@testallwater.co.uk

Correct Postal Address:

We only post to the shipping address entered on the order.  Any delivery which cannot be made due to the incorrect address will require an additional payment for the item to be sent again.

Tracking Your Order: 

Occasionally, there may be delays within Royal Mail postal system. Although delays are rare, please allow 15 days for your order to arrive, particularly during the peak periods around Christmas, New Year and Bank Holidays. Unfortunately, we cannot start tracking parcels until this time has elapsed. 

If you do not receive your goods within 15 working days you should contact us and we will be able to track your delivery via the Royal Mail & our couriers. 

Please note, over 40% of lost parcels are often just waiting to be collected from a neighbour or a local Royal Mail sorting office, so please check there first.  Compensation is limited to the cost of the goods ordered and will take the form of a replacement or a refund. 

When your order is despatched you will receive an email notifying as such. Customers who have items being despatched for next day delivery should also receive a tracking number and a link to the respective tracking webpage. If you are not home to receive your item - Regardless of whether it is Royal Mail or Courier that tries to deliver your order, you should receive a calling card. This card should give instructions on what to do next to get your item. Generally items will be returned to the depot for your collection within 7 days, please follow the instructions on the card. Important: If you fail to obtain your order within seven days it will be returned to us as 'not called for'.

If your order is returned to us and reason given by Royal Mail is "Not called for" or "Refused" or "Gone away" (or similar) you will be charged a flat rate admin fee of £3.99 to cover the cost of postage and handling. If you did not receive a 'While you were out' card you will have to make a complaint to Royal Mail or courier company as it is their responsibility not ours. 

Please note Expedited shipments will lose the expedited shipment charge. 

This does not affect your statutory rights. 

Posting Overseas*

Our checkout is set to post worldwide usually by Royal Mail International Signed Service although we will often send test kits via other couriers such as DHL, UPS and TNT.  

We regularly post to Singapore, Canada,  USA,  Cyprus, Estonia, Egypt, Spain, France, Gibraltor, Ireland, Israel, Sweden, New Zealand, Malta, Norway, Australia and Hong Kong.

*If you order goods from our site for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which will be levied when the order reaches the delivery address. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. For further information please contact your local customs office before placing your order.

 

If your country is not on the list please contact us and we can quote you a price and add you to the list.

Our detailed postage terms are set out below;

Generally all items are shipped via UPS and Royal Mail.   UPS and First Class recorded postage we aim for 1-3 working days although products that are dispatched directly from the manufacturer may take longer (we will advise on delivery date)

We dispatch Monday - Fridays and Royal Mail delivery days are Monday to Saturday.  Please note items dispatched by courier or Royal Mail Special delivery on a Friday will be not be delivered to the Monday unless you choose to upgrade to a Saturday AM delivery service. 

Please note some areas including Northern Ireland, Scotland (post codes KW,IV,HS), Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man will need extra carriage.

If delivery is attempted 3 times by our carriers, and delivery has failed, the goods will be returned to us, and an additional charge will apply for re-delivery. If you decide you no longer require the goods after a failed delivery attempt, there will be a 20% administration charge deducted from any refund to cover shipping & handling. 

All off-shore delivery services are offered at the standard rate for each zone as displayed on our website plus any additional weight charges if they apply to the products once ordered. We will always contact you to inform you of any variation to the shipping costs, before proceeding with your order.

 

PLEASE CHECK YOUR DELIVERY 

It is ALWAYS best to sign for your delivery as UNCHECKED or make sure you check your delivery BEFORE you sign for it as being received okay.

If you are unable to check your delivery before signing for it, sign for your delivery as UNCHECKED or if the package is damaged in anyway, no matter how small, please sign for it stating DAMAGED. We CANNOT CLAIM from our carriers for any damaged items that have not been signed for as DAMAGED.

If you sign for a delivery which you find at a later date is damaged, our carriers WILL NOT accept liability and you may be charged for the damaged items if we cannot claim from the carriers, In this case a delivery charge for replacement items WILL be made.

By completing your order you agree to abide by these instructions to check your delivery and sign for it accordingly as either OK, UNCHECKED or DAMAGED. If you have signed for your goods as DAMAGED you must notify us by telephone within 14 days of the original delivery date. This communication must also be backed up in writing via recorded delivery within the same 14 days. Once we have been notified of the damaged goods, you will be given a specific reference number.

If you live in a rural area or you generally have difficulty with home deliveries, you can always specify your place of work to receive your delivery. If you know that there is restricted access for deliveries, please inform us, so that we can pass these restrictions on to our Carrier. The more information we have ensures we maintain our delivery schedule, and your expectations. Some rural deliveries will be sent via Royal Mail as this is the most effective method of delivery.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
